Hi, I’m Alivia Knoerzer, the founder of Marked Aligned.
I grew up in South Central Nebraska in a small town called Elwood, where life on my family’s farm shaped much of who I am today. From an early age, I found myself drawn to creativity through 4-H projects, school activities, crafts, and learning to play the guitar. I also developed a love for photography after watching my mom behind the camera and eventually picking it up myself to capture everyday moments.
My faith is central to my life. My relationship with Jesus and the foundation I find in the Bible guides how I live, work, and pursue my passions. Alongside my faith, I value the simple but meaningful parts of life such as cooking, cleaning, and making my house feel like a home. Family is incredibly important to me, and being an aunt is one of the roles I cherish most.
At the heart of it all, I am someone who values faith, family, creativity, and building a life filled with purpose. Beneath the professionalism, I am simply a woman pursuing my dreams and striving to live them out with authenticity. I hope to also learn who you are and help you fulfill your purpose.
The Covid Pandemic was a pivotal point in my creative journey because it was where it all began. with so much time on my hands I started doing small sketch commission work for close friends. At the time, it was strictly a hobby, but it became a creative outlet I didn’t realize would come back as the spark that lit everything.
When I entered the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, I joined the Engler Entrepreneurship Program, and that was where I began to see entrepreneurship as more than just a possibility. It became a calling. Engler encouraged me to experiment, fail, pivot, and try again, and it was through those experiences that I started finding clarity.
My first official venture on campus was Stick With Him, a faith-based sticker business that taught me what it meant to design products people could connect with. From there, I pivoted into Logos by Liv, creating custom brand identities for classmates and small businesses. Around that time, I also bought my first camera and began calling myself Marked by Liv, which allowed me to step into both design and photography as part of my creative journey.
Eventually with clarity, these experiences came together to form what is now Marked Aligned. This business was built on the belief that alignment is the key to building meaningful and lasting brands. Over the past four years, I have faced failures, celebrated growth, and experienced breakthrough moments that have shaped not only my business but also the way I see entrepreneurship itself.
